Bone Breathing and bone health
Bone Breathing comes from a traditional energetic and Taoist framework in which the bones are associated with vitality, deep nourishment and the body’s energetic foundation.
The practice can be used as a complementary meditation for people who are interested in bone awareness, grounding, vitality and a deeper relationship with their body.
It should not, however, be understood as a medical treatment for osteoporosis, osteopenia, fractures or other bone diseases, nor as a replacement for appropriate medical care, but as support for bone health
The value of the practice lies in the meditation itself — in developing awareness, relaxation, grounding and a conscious relationship with the body and especially with the bones.
