Reading the Auric Colour Rays
Learning to observe the human being through colour, energy and consciousness
The Reading of the Auric Colour Rays is an unusual and experiential course exploring the aura as a symbolic language of human development.
The aim is not simply to “see colours”. It is to learn how to observe, understand and interpret the different colour rays within the aura and to explore what they may reveal about a person’s psychological and spiritual development.
Through this work, we can develop a different kind of understanding of another human being — and, with it, greater empathy.
When we understand how another person experiences the world, we can also become more sensitive to the way we communicate with them. We may find words that meet the person where they actually are, rather than simply speaking from our own perspective.
What you will explore
During the two-day seminar, you will be introduced to a system of auric colour interpretation that includes:
- preparation for an aura reading through a short light meditation
- recognising and distinguishing colours in the aura
- the meaning of the different colour rays
- the Great Teachers/Masters associated with the rays
- chakras and their relationship with the energetic field
- human development and evolution
- the rays associated with a person’s natural inclinations and abilities
- the personality rays and their development during childhood and adolescence
- the birth rays and what they may indicate about development before birth
- the soul rays and their interpretation
- the Third Eye and ways of developing its perception
- meditation for cleansing and opening the chakras
- the traditional concepts of Indigo, Crystal and Rainbow people
- practical observation and aura readings
From colour to understanding
The colour rays are explored as a way of looking more deeply into the individual.
Rather than immediately judging a person’s behaviour, personality or choices, the student learns to ask:
What might be happening underneath what I see?
What is this person developing?
Where might they be blocked?
What qualities are emerging?
How might they perceive the world differently from me?
The purpose of the reading is therefore not prediction or judgement.
It is understanding.
And understanding can create empathy.
The Third Eye and subtle perception
The course also introduces the concept of the Third Eye and the development of subtle perception.
Meditation and experiential exercises are used to explore this form of perception, including the cleansing of the chakras and the traditional “opening of the seven seals”.
The emphasis is on experience and observation, rather than on accepting a theory simply because it has been presented.
You observe.
You experience.
You compare your impressions.
And gradually, you discover how you perceive.
Practical aura readings
An important part of the seminar is practical experience.
Participants observe and “read” the aura of one another, learning to recognise colours and explore their possible meanings within the system taught during the course.
This makes the seminar both experiential and interactive.
You don’t simply listen to someone explaining what an aura reading is.
You practise observing.
A serious — and fun — seminar
This is a serious subject, but it doesn’t have to be serious all the time. 😊
Curiosity, playfulness and an open mind are welcome.
The course is an invitation to explore a different way of perceiving yourself and other people — without needing to decide in advance what is or isn’t possible.

Participation in this seminar is not a guarantee that you will become clairvoyant.
The course introduces a particular system of energetic and symbolic observation. Each person experiences subtle perception differently, and the purpose of the training is to explore and develop your own observation rather than to promise supernatural abilities.
